Kids Classes at Bloc10 Bouldering
Bloc10 Bouldering offers climbing classes for children as young as three years old. Children aged seven and above can work towards a nationally recognised climbing qualification called NICAS. Our experienced instructors create a supportive environment where children can explore their limits and build confidence. NICAS classes are conveniently scheduled on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Kids Classes

Parent and Toddler Session
When is it?:
Every Monday 9.30 am - 11 am
Who can attend?:
Parents and children under 5
How much is it?:
£5 per child (under 5 only). Supervising parents go free and get a coffee on us. (Older siblings are welcome to attend but will be charged under-16 entry)
1 adult can supervise up to 2 children.
What happens at the session?:
It is an informal play session, whereby children and parents have the chance to climb should they wish. It is not instructor-led.
Do I need to pre-book?:
No
Do I have to arrive at 9.30 am?
Most people attending arrive at times throughout the session. We do finish at 11 am every week.

Wild Climbers
When is it?:
Sunday morning 9 am - 10 am
Wednesday 4pm - 5pm (NEW from April 22nd)
Who can attend?:
Children age 3-6 years with their parents
What happens at the sessions?:
Our fun, game-oriented program safely introduces climbers to the indoor environment. It builds confidence, develops climbing awareness, and creates a pathway to further activities. The program is inclusive and aligns with the EYFS learning areas.
How much is it?:
£12 including shoe-hire
(at the time of enrolling, there is an additional one-off fee of £12 for the WildClimbers workbook)
Do I have to book?:
No, just come along and the reception staff will help you.

NICAS
What is NICAS?:
National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme
What do the classes teach?:
Sessions teach climbing etiquette and safety, leading to the NIC Bouldering qualification. This nationally recognised award provides a pathway for young boulderers to progress into competition, coaching, outdoor climbing, or independent social climbing.
Who can attend?:
Children aged 7 to 16 years
When is it?
Classes for level 1 are on Saturday at 8.30 am - 9.30 am. From March 8th Sunday Class will be at 11.30 am.
Do I need to book?
Yes - see below. We have space just now to booking a taster session or you can join the waitlist.
Group Bookings
Looking for the perfect group activity? Our sessions are 1 hour long and include a safety briefing, warm-up, expert instruction, and fun games. Shoe hire for all participants is included in the cost.
