Winter is coming, and so are the Winter Bouldering Leagues at Bloc10!
Four rounds across two centers—your scores combine for a final league total, with the top 12 contests battling it out in a Live Finals.

The rules and how it works...
(Think parkrun, not the Olympics)
Bloc10’s Winter Bouldering League is all about bringing the community together for some friendly competition. It’s a low-pressure way for climbers of all skill levels to test their skills in a contest setting—complete with live music, food, and good vibes.
Scoring will be done via the Griptonite app and a live leader board on the television in the centre.
You will have to choose a category from the below:

Seniors +45 years
It’s all so simple! Each round will consist of 25 boulders, ranging from V0-V7+. Climb as many as you can in as few attempts as possible, all while having fun! The scoring works:

1st attempt = 10 points

2nd attempt= 7 points

3rd attempt = 4 points
-
4+ attempts = 1 point
-
R4 scores will count double.
Your final league score will be the sum of all your round scores from the series.
The Rules: To qualify for prizes and the grand pass draw, you must submit a scorecard for every single round.
Fun boulders are only available to climb on the night of the competition.

COMP FAQs
Who can enter the comp?
Everyone over the age of 7 years can enter. These competitions are designed to not be taken too seriously. It's about having a good time and having your chance to try a competition.
Can spectators enter for free?
Due to the expected high number of entrants, we cannot permit people to enter without a ticket. Spectator tickets can be purchased for the Final.
Do you accept cards and cash?
Yes - Tickets, food & drink can be purchased on the night with card or cash at the till
How do I enter my scores?
Can I purchase a ticket on the door?
Yes they will be issued first come, first served. Once we reach capacity admittance will be 1 out 1 in.
Do I have to enter my scores?
Not if you don't want to. You can enjoy the competition by simply trying the boulders and watching the live finals at the end. It's about socialising with friends, enjoying the music and the atmosphere.
Is shoe hire included in the cost of the ticket?
Yes shoe hire is included.
